I want to ensure my kids receive a solid education before we move.
Are there good primary schools for children in Humahuaca?
1 Answer
Humahuaca hosts several public primary schools that serve the town’s population. These schools follow the national curriculum and are staffed by teachers certified by the Ministry of Education. Facilities vary; newer buildings include basic science labs, while older structures may lack modern amenities. For extracurricular activities, community clubs often collaborate with schools. Parents can visit schools to assess classroom conditions, teacher qualifications, and student-teacher ratios. The provincial education department publishes annual reports on school performance, which can be accessed online.
