We are moving with two elementary‑age children.
Are there public schools that teach in Portuguese for my kids?
1 Answer
Yes, the municipal school system provides Portuguese‑language instruction at the primary level. Public schools are administered by the local education department, and enrollment is typically based on residence within the city’s catchment areas. You can obtain registration forms and information about school zones on the education department’s website or by visiting the nearest district office. It’s advisable to bring proof of address, birth certificates and vaccination records when you apply.
