I don’t have a car and need to get to work and the grocery store.
What public transportation options exist in Yorkton?
1 Answer
Yorkton is served by a municipal transit authority that operates a fixed‑route bus system covering the downtown core, residential neighbourhoods and major shopping areas. Service runs on weekdays with reduced weekend frequencies. Schedules and route maps are posted on the city’s official website, and fare information is listed there as well. For trips outside the city, regional bus services connect to larger centres, though they may require advance booking. Many residents also use rideshare apps or car‑sharing programs for occasional trips when public transit isn’t convenient.
