I have a 10‑year‑old and need to know about primary and secondary schools.
What educational options are available for children in Avallon?
1 Answer
Avallon offers a range of public primary schools and secondary schools that serve the local population. The school district website provides details on enrollment, curriculum, and school boundaries. For higher education, students typically travel to nearby larger towns within the Bourgogne‑Franche‑Comté region, where universities and technical colleges are located. The local education authority also offers guidance on school choice and transportation for students.
A starting point only — it may be incomplete or out of date. Check official sources for anything important, and add your own answer if you know Avallon.
