I have a background in IT and am wondering if there are opportunities here.
What are the main industries that hire in Tours?
1 Answer
Tours hosts a mix of sectors including technology, education, tourism, and manufacturing. The city’s university and research institutes attract IT and engineering roles, while the historic tourism sector offers hospitality and cultural jobs. Small and medium enterprises are also common, especially in the service and retail sectors. To find openings, explore local job boards, university career services, and networking groups that focus on the Centre‑Val de Loire region.
