What are the main employment sectors in Douai?

Douai’s job market is anchored by manufacturing, logistics, and education, with a growing presence of service‑oriented businesses. The city also benefits from its proximity to larger industrial zones in the Hauts‑de‑France region, offering opportunities in engineering, retail, and public administration.
