How do public schools in Le Havre rank academically?

Public schools in Le Havre follow the national French curriculum and are overseen by the regional education authority, which publishes annual performance indicators such as exam pass rates and progression statistics. Overall, the city’s schools perform at or slightly above the national average, with some institutions receiving special recognition for bilingual programs or extracurricular excellence. The education authority’s website provides school‑by‑school data, including inspection reports and parent‑review sections. You can also request school prospectuses directly from the municipal education office to compare class sizes, facilities and any special programs that might suit your children’s ages and interests.
