How are the public schools rated in Aachen?

Public schools in Aachen are overseen by the regional school authority and generally follow the state curriculum, offering a solid education in German language, mathematics, and sciences. Performance varies by school, but most schools provide extracurricular activities and language support for non‑German speakers. Parents can consult the school district’s website for school inspection reports, enrollment procedures, and catch‑area maps that determine which school your child would attend based on your address. Visiting a school during an open house or contacting the school directly can give you a clearer picture of the environment and resources.
