I have a background in engineering and want to know where the demand is.
Which sectors are hiring the most in Bochum right now?
1 Answer
Bochum’s economy is diversified, with strong demand in engineering, information technology, healthcare, and education. The former industrial region has attracted many tech startups and research institutes, creating openings for mechanical, electrical and software engineers. The city’s hospitals and care facilities also regularly post vacancies for technical and support staff. Additionally, the university and vocational schools employ academic and administrative personnel. Job seekers should browse the city’s employment agency portal and regional job boards, where filters let you target engineering roles across these sectors.
