I have a background in engineering and want to know where to focus my job search.
Which sectors are hiring the most in Mönchengladbach right now?
1 Answer
Mönchengladbach’s economy is diversified, with strong employment in manufacturing, logistics, and the service sector. Engineering skills are in demand especially in companies linked to automotive parts, metalworking and renewable‑energy projects. The city also hosts a growing number of IT and consulting firms that look for technical expertise. For the latest job openings, use the national employment portal and filter by the city, and check the city’s economic development website for sector reports. Attending regional job fairs and networking events organized by the local chamber of commerce can also give you direct contacts in the most active hiring fields.
A starting point only — it may be incomplete or out of date. Check official sources for anything important, and add your own answer if you know Mönchengladbach.
