I have a background in mechanical engineering and am looking for tech or manufacturing roles.
What industries are hiring in Solingen right now?
1 Answer
Solingen’s economy is anchored by precision engineering, metalworking, and small‑to‑medium manufacturing firms. There is also a growing demand for automation, robotics, and software development services. Professionals in mechanical engineering often find opportunities in companies that produce cutting‑edge tools and components. For current openings, review local job boards, the city’s economic development portal, and industry‑specific recruitment platforms that list positions in the region.
