I have a 10‑year‑old who needs a primary and secondary education.
What kind of schools are available for my children in Sonneberg?
1 Answer
Sonneberg provides a range of educational institutions from kindergarten to secondary schools. Primary education is offered in several elementary schools with a focus on core subjects. For secondary education, there are both general secondary schools and vocational schools that prepare students for apprenticeships in trades such as metalworking and automotive technology. The municipal education office maintains a directory of schools, including information on enrollment procedures and school calendars.
A starting point only — it may be incomplete or out of date. Check official sources for anything important, and add your own answer if you know Sonneberg.
