I have a background in software engineering and want to know if there are opportunities.
What kinds of jobs are available for a software developer in Ormoc?
1 Answer
Ormoc’s economy is primarily agrarian and fishing-based, but there are growing opportunities in local government, education, and small businesses. Tech roles are limited; however, some companies in the region may need IT support or software solutions for logistics and agriculture. You could also consider remote work or freelancing, which is common among professionals in the city. Networking through local business groups can help uncover niche opportunities.
