Browne House
About Browne House
Built between 1694 and 1701, the Browne House is the oldest surviving house in Watertown and contains rare architectural features from the late 1600s. It was painstakingly restored in the early 20th century, showcasing how a farming family lived in what was considered a “mansion house” at the time. The house is owned by Historic New England.
