How reliable is the public bus service in Dumaguete?

The city’s public bus system operates on fixed routes and schedules, with buses running roughly every 30 minutes during peak hours. While the service is generally reliable, occasional delays can occur due to traffic or road maintenance. Many commuters also use motorcycle taxis for shorter trips or to avoid traffic. For real-time updates, consult the city transit authority’s mobile app or local community groups that share schedule changes.
